Carlos M. Mugica | Transportation Minister

Carlos M. Mugica was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He is happily married to Jennifer Mugica and the proud father of two daughters, Carlie and Taylor. Carlos is a Realtor with LPT Realty and has been a part of the industry since 2005. Real Estate began as a job and turned into a passion of his as he witnessed the happiness brought to families after finding their perfect homes. Carlos most recently was appointed as the Zoning Commissioner for the City of Castle Hills. He enjoys being part of a group that will keep the City of Castle Hills beautiful and safe.

When Carlos is not working, he loves spending time with his family, enjoys time out at the lake and attending concerts. Another pastime of his is cheering on America’s favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Carlos values education and knows that educational opportunities can and will open doors for people. These opportunities can lead individuals to become productive members of society and change the trajectory of their lives and the lives of their families. He believes that education empowers and builds skills that will enhance the lives of others, leading them to success not only in education, but in life.
