Richard A. Sparr Jr. | Sponsorship Minister

Richard A. Sparr, Jr. is a seasoned attorney, certified mediator, and civic leader who has served the San Antonio legal community with integrity and distinction since 1984. As the founding partner of the Sparr Law Firm, he built a successful litigation practice before transitioning to focus exclusively on mediation and arbitration in 2019. To date, he has successfully mediated over 3,500 cases across a broad range of legal issues, earning the trust of clients and peers for his practical, people-focused approach.

Richard’s leadership extends far beyond the courtroom. He is a former President of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission and served as King Antonio XCVI, both of which further continued his passion for the many ways Fiesta contributes to education and students in the greater San Antonio community.

Richard is the proud father of Mallory Sparr, the Order of the Alamo Queen of the Court of Sovereign Legends; Richard Sparr III; and Wesley Sparr. He is also a loving grandfather to Sutton Sparr. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, traveling, SCUBA diving, and boating.
