Osvaldo “Ozzie” Ortiz | Advance Minister

Ozzie is a seasoned professional in the Title Insurance Industry with over 25 years of experience. He was born at BAMC in San Antonio Texas, and raised between San Antonio Texas, and Mayaguez Puerto Rico.

Ozzie has held various leadership roles across Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Florida.

In 2019, he founded his own title insurance agency, specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions throughout Texas and Florida. His expertise has made him a trusted partner for homeowners and investors alike.

Ozzie served as District 8 Zoning Commissioner for the City of San Antonio since 2021, where he contributed to the city’s growth and development. Passionate about community service and education, he also joined the Rey Feo Consejo in 2021, dedicating his efforts to raising scholarship funds for students pursuing higher education. He is proud to serve as Advanced Minister for Rey Feo LXXVII, Dr. Damaso Oliva.

Growing up in both San Antonio and Mayaguez, education has always meant opportunity and hope to Ozzie. It’s been his way of exploring life beyond his neighborhood and of learning about the world while holding onto his roots. By living in cities rich with culture and history, education helped Ozzie to understand where he comes from and where he wants to go. Education, it’s not just about school—it’s about becoming someone who can give back, break barriers, and build a better future for themselves and their community.

Ozzie lives life to the fullest with the support of his loving wife, Crissy Quintero-Ortiz, and their beloved dogs, Binky and Ziggy Ortiz. Ozzie is a lover of the outdoors and is always up for a good run, a scenic hike, or a long bike ride. He is passionate about traveling and living the beach life whenever possible.
