Rey Feo 77’s Watch Party for the Texas Cavaliers Parade
An Evening of Fiesta, Community & Purpose
Date: April 20, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: County Line BBQ on the River Walk
Rey Feo 77’s Watch Party for the Texas Cavaliers River Parade was set to bring the spirit of Fiesta to life along the iconic San Antonio River Walk in honor of Rey Feo LXXVII, Dr. Damaso Andrés Oliva, Jr., and his distinguished Royal Court. While unexpected weather led to the cancellation of the parade, the evening still reflected the heart and resilience of our community.
Despite the rain, guests who arrived embraced the moment, gathering together in true Fiesta spirit to share in fellowship, laughter, and camaraderie. What could have been a quiet evening instead became a meaningful reminder of what makes San Antonio so special: a community that shows up, celebrates together, and supports one another no matter the circumstances.
Though the parade lights never took to the river, the purpose behind the evening remained strong. Conversations were shared, connections were made, and the mission of the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation—to expand educational opportunities for students across our city- remained front and center.
The presence of Rey Feo LXXVII and his Royal Court was a surprise of the evening, reinforcing a legacy rooted in service, leadership, and a commitment to education.
While the event may not have unfolded as planned, it still stood as a testament to the strength of community and the enduring spirit of Fiesta. We are grateful to those who braved the weather and made the evening memorable in its own special way.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping carry forward the mission of “Passing the torch of knowledge to light the path to a brighter future.”
