Proclaim the Reign & Meet the Ministers Garden Party

Featuring the Official Crest Reveal of Rey Feo LXXVII

Under the twinkling lights of a perfect spring evening, the San Antonio community gathered at Casa Garza-Aldaco for the Proclaim the Reign and Meet the Ministers Garden Party—a vibrant kickoff to the reign of Rey Feo LXXVII, Damaso Andres Oliva, Jr., and the official launch of his scholarship campaign. The evening’s centerpiece was the unveiling of Rey Feo LXXVII's official crest, a moment steeped in tradition and rich with symbolism, marking the beginning of a reign devoted to education, opportunity, and community impact.

Guests were treated to a festive garden party atmosphere, complete with lively music, colorful decor, fiesta-themed food, an open bar, and joyful camaraderie. As the new court was formally introduced, the crowd gathered in anticipation of the crest reveal—a proud and moving tribute to Dr. Oliva’s values, heritage, and mission as Rey Feo LXXVII.

A passionate advocate for education, Dr. Oliva shared reflections on his lifelong dedication to learning and the importance of investing in the next generation. Through his role as Rey Feo, he now carries forward the legacy of those who championed academic opportunity before him, with a focus on expanding scholarship access for students across San Antonio and surrounding areas.

The evening also launched the “Fund the Need” pledge campaign, rallying support for the Rey Feo Scholarship Fund. Guests pledged donations, entered raffles, and walked away with mystery bags—all while celebrating a cause that promises to change lives.

Thank you to all who joined us in this powerful and joyful evening. Your presence and support made it unforgettable.

Together, we proclaim the reign, honor tradition, and invest in the future. ¡VIVA FIESTA!
