Havana Nights: A Night In Old Havana
A Celebration of Culture, Community & Cuban Charm
Date: September 19, 2025
Time: 6:00–11:00 PM
Location: Pedrotti’s Ranch, Helotes, Texas
On a vibrant September evening, Rey Feo LXXVII, Dr. Damaso Andres Oliva, Jr., and guests celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in grand Cuban style at Havana Nights: A Night in Old Havana. Held at Pedrotti’s Ranch, the event transported attendees to the golden era of 1950s Havana, complete with vintage cars, sultry rhythms, and the unmistakable spirit of Latin celebration.
Guests arrived in ruffled shirts and rumba dresses, ready to sip sparkling mojitos, savor Cuban delicacies, and dance beneath the stars. A lively 14-piece Big Band filled the air with classic Latin beats, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of music and movement.
The evening buzzed with excitement as attendees tested their luck at casino tables, earning chips to trade in for fantastic prizes. Others enjoyed a quieter moment playing dominoes or indulging in fine cigars at the open-air cigar lounge, where soothing Latin sounds played into the night.
As the night progressed, the energy soared with a high-octane hora loca led by a DJ spinning modern Latin hits that kept the dance floor alive. Guests ended the evening on a sweet note with traditional Cuban desserts, including rich flan, arroz con leche, and bold Cuban coffee.
More than just a party, Havana Nights was a powerful celebration of heritage and purpose. All proceeds benefited the Rey Feo Scholarship Reign, fueling educational dreams and opportunities for students throughout San Antonio and beyond.
Thank you to all who brought Old Havana to life under the Texas stars. Your presence and generosity continue to support Rey Feo LXXVII’s mission of education, empowerment, and community uplift.
